Emily's Birthday Party

Had a wonderful family celebration and reunion in honor of my Aunt Emily's birthday - at C.D. Lane Park in Maplecrest on August 6. A large contingent of the Podwinski clan were present - and it was nice to get together with 4 generations of cousins, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, etc.

HOME -- January 7,2011

We closed on our new home in Maplecrest, NY in the midst of a winter snowstorm on Friday, 1/7/11 -- it is such a blessing to be living in this house in my most favorite place in all the world -- my family spent many fun summer and winter vacations here in Maplecrest when we were growing up, and Dan and I were married right down the street from where we will now live. Our grandchildren are just 2 miles away....am I smiling??? We are so thankful for this blessing! Our prayer is that this house will be a blessing to our family and our church family and friends for years to come.

Chistmas week at the Blass home was a whirl of celebrations and family -- these are just a few of those who were welcomed there....we always look forward to my brother and his family visiting this time of year, and this year my sister and Mom were able to join us too.

A Saturday in September

We were blessed with beautiful weather this weekend, and I was blessed with some time with Anna, Samuel and Elisia.

At the Fair

Kind of like a roller coaster without the ups and downs.

We spent Labor Day at the Delaware County Fair in Chatham, NY -- the best part was enjoying the children enjoying the rides. Samuel was smiling and humming songs all day. Anna's favorite was the purple dragon ride.
